Site Rules

Hello, and welcome to Phantasmagoria of Lost Will, a brand new Touhou Project roleplay site!  Before you get started, there are a few rules that you need to be acquainted to.

SITE RULES

* We know the world of Touhou has its overpowered characters.  However, you can't use those powers to become the supreme site being.  Therefore, powerplaying and godmodding are not permitted.  POWERPLAYING is being so purposely overpowered to where your character never loses and easily obliterates anything in their path.  GODMODDING is where you do something such as move another player, or do something your character has no possible ways of doing.  Both of these will get you banned after a warning, so be cautious.
* Metagaming is also not allowed.  METAGAMING is where you use OOC information IC.  For example, if your opponent is afraid of cheese (don't question me,) and your character doesn't know that in character, but you know it out of character, and your character pulls out cheese, it just wouldn't be fair.
* Swearing is okay but don't make a habit of it.  Keep it unabusive along with sexual and vulgar innuendo.
* Custom characters cannot be related to canons in any way.  No exceptions.
* If you play a canon character, make sure you stick to their personality as much as possible.  Its okay to throw a few curve balls into the mix, but don't turn, say, Reimu, into a brand new character.
* We do not have a character limit, but you can only have up to three canon characters.  PM an admin if you are applying for a new character.
* If you play multiple canons, they cannot be from the same game (this includes the Other section.)

One last thing: This site is a work in progress. Not everything has been thought out/perfected yet, and ideas and suggestions are appreciated.

There are some roleplaying terms you might need to understand before you jump out there, though. Yes, there's more than Metagaming, Powerplaying, and Godmodding. This section is just for those new to roleplaying.

• IC: In Character. Everything that happens in character is officially etched into the site's history.
  
• OOC: Out of Character. Everything that happens out of character does not affect anything in character. This excludes any form of plot or event discussion as well as signups for events.
  
• Open: Open means that a topic is free for anyone to join. Open topics are either titled (Open) or have a blank description. Restrictions may be added, such as (Invite - PM for entry).
  
• Closed: Topics that are private to a specific set of people. Closed topics are labeled (Private), (Closed), or have the names of the roleplayers in it (Such as (Yukari, Reimu, Marisa)). You are not allowed to post in topic you have not been invited to.
